- Detects data hidden in the lowest bits of image pixels
- Finds data attached to the end of files
- Extracts hidden messages and checks if they are real
When to use it:
- A file seems to have extra data at the end
- A picture or audio file looks wrong or is larger than expected
- You suspect hidden data in a puzzle or forensic case
- A file structure does not match what it should be
- Do not use it for normal file analysis or decrypting encrypted data
- Do not use it to search randomly without a reason to suspect hidden data
