- Checks the current state of the .claude folder which holds Claude Code settings
- Compares what exists to what should be there
- Shows you what is missing or needs improvement
- Asks for approval before making changes
- Adds missing pieces without breaking what already works
When to use it:
- When you want to improve an existing Claude Code setup
- When you need to add more agents or rules to a project
- When you want to organize and strengthen the .claude system
- Use init-claude instead if you are starting completely fresh
