What this skill does
What it does:
Feishu (also called Lark) is a workplace app that mixes chat, docs, and spreadsheets, similar to Slack plus Google Workspace. "Base" is its multi-dimensional table feature, something between a spreadsheet and a simple database. You can build tables with different column types, forms, dashboards, and basic automations inside it. This skill is a command tool that lets an assistant manage that feature for you: create new Bases, tables, columns (fields), rows (records), saved views, forms, dashboards, and simple workflow automations. It can also browse Feishu's public library of ready-made Base templates to start from, and it organizes everything inside folders called Workspaces.
When to use it:
- Creating a new Base or table from scratch
- Adding, changing, or deleting columns, rows, or views
- Building a dashboard, form, or simple automation inside a Base
- Copying an existing Base or starting from a public template
It does not handle plain files, chat messages, or knowledge-base pages, those are separate tools.
