What this skill does
What it does:
This skill reads, creates, and edits Feishu (Lark) online documents, called Docx, and wiki pages, inside Feishu, a workplace chat and office app similar to Slack. It can summarize or read a document's content, build a brand new document from scratch, create a blank document or import content exactly as given, and edit existing text by rewriting, polishing, reorganizing, or adding to it. It also supports inserting or downloading pictures and file attachments inside a document, working with drawing boards, called whiteboards, and mind map style notes, and looking up or rolling back to an older version of a document. Copying a document, uploading or managing files in general cloud storage, and handling standalone comments are managed by a separate related skill for Feishu Drive, not this one. Editing data inside tables or databases is also outside this skill's job.
When to use it:
- Someone gives a Feishu document or wiki link and wants it read, summarized, or edited
- Someone wants a new document written from scratch or an existing one rewritten
- Someone wants to insert, download, or preview images and files inside a document
- Not for copying files, managing general cloud storage, or editing spreadsheet or table data
