setup-template

Updates a new repository to match a template's settings and structure so everything stays consistent.

Installation
Run `npx skills add "https://github.com/masseater/skills" --skill "setup-template"` to install this skill, then follow its SKILL.md instructions for my next request.

Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor, or any agent that can run commands.

What this skill does
What it does: - Checks if a new repository made from the typescript-template has all the right pieces - Uses a tool called gh to set up GitHub the right way - Looks for missing pieces by comparing to the template - Checks that old ways of doing things are gone and new ways are working When to use it: Use this after you make a new repository from masseater/typescript-template or after an AI helper finishes moving code to it. Run it to make sure all the automatic checks and protections are turned on and working right. It finds pieces that are missing or old pieces that should have been removed.
