Finds stocks matching your criteria by building a custom FinViz search in plain language.
Installation
Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor, or any agent that can run commands.
What this skill does
What it does:
- Turns your description of what stocks you want into a search on FinViz, a stock screening website
- Understands requests in English or Japanese about stock types you are looking for
- Creates the correct web link and opens it in your browser so you can see matching stocks
- Works with both free FinViz and the paid FinViz Elite version
When to use it:
- When you want to find stocks that match certain qualities, like high dividend stocks or small companies
- When you describe what kind of stocks interest you using words like oversold, high growth, or near 52-week lows
- When you want to screen stocks by their financial numbers like price to earnings ratio or return on equity
- When you ask to open FinViz with specific filters or search conditions
