- Stops Claude from running dangerous git commands like push, reset hard, clean, branch delete, and checkout
- Shows Claude a message saying it cannot access these commands
- Lets you choose to set this up for just one project or all your projects
- Lets you add or remove commands from the blocked list if you want
When to use it:
- You want to prevent Claude from accidentally breaking your code with destructive git commands
- You are worried Claude might push changes you do not want pushed
- You want extra safety when using Claude to work with your code files
