to-spec
Turns a conversation into a written spec and sends it to your project tracker.
Installation
Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor, or any agent that can run commands.
What this skill does
What it does:
- Takes what you have already discussed and turns it into a detailed plan called a spec
- Explores your code to understand how things work now
- Plans where to test the new feature
- Creates a written spec with problems, solutions, user stories, and decisions
- Publishes the spec to your project tracker
When to use it:
- After you have talked through a feature idea and want to write it down officially
- When you need a clear plan before starting to code
- When you want to make sure everyone agrees on what to build before work starts
- Do not use this to interview users or ask new questions, only to organize what you already know
