What it does: This skill is a directory and installer for a whole family of Wind financial skills, Wind being a major Chinese financial data company. Instead of answering financial questions itself, it figures out which specialized skill or skills a request actually needs, checks whether those are already installed on the computer, and if not, offers to install them after asking the person's permission first. It treats some skills as required data tools and others as required workflow tools, for example a stock valuation model or an after-market review report, and insists on getting the real specialized skill installed rather than faking a quick, generic analysis in its place. It runs a background update check first, then reads a local list of available skills to match the request, checks a few folder locations for existing installations, and only after getting the person's go-ahead does it pick the faster of two possible download sources and install the missing piece. When to use it: Use this when someone asks for a financial analysis, valuation, market review, or trading-related task and it is not yet clear whether the specific Wind skill needed for that job is already installed.
