What this skill does
What it does: This skill studies an entire industry to find the best investment opportunities. It maps out the whole supply chain from raw materials to final customers, identifies which companies are leaders in each part, and checks if the investment idea actually makes sense. It looks at all publicly traded companies worldwide in that industry and analyzes the strongest ones using a proven framework. When to use it: Use this skill when you want to invest in an industry or a trend but need to understand how it works first. For example, if you think electric cars will be big, this skill maps out all the companies that make batteries, motors, charging stations, and the cars themselves. It helps you see which parts of the industry are most profitable and which companies are best positioned to win.
