re-address-space
Helps developers convert and track memory addresses when analyzing code.
Installation
Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor, or any agent that can run commands.
What this skill does
What it does:
- Converts between different address formats used in programs (like PIE, ASLR, RVA, and VA)
- Finds where a program actually loads in memory when it runs
- Translates addresses between tools like Ghidra, gdb, and Frida so they all show the same locations
- Handles firmware programs that load at different addresses than where they were built for
When to use it:
- When an address in your reverse engineering tool does not match the address you see while the program runs
- When working with programs that use PIE or ASLR, which randomize where code loads each time
- When you need to set breakpoints or find code in a running program
- When analyzing firmware or embedded systems with custom load addresses
